My screenshots return completely black but actually the player plays correctly. How to get normal screenshots back?
There are two main reasons why screenshots would come back black.
The most obvious would be that the schedule when the screenshot was taken didn't have any active playback item. This can happen if for example, the player system time is incorrect or has not been set in the correct timezone.
Another potential issue is when using remote access solutions such as Remote Desktop (Terminal Services) or software like TeamViewer etc.
Some of these solutions interfere with the capture process as they are themselves capturing the screen. Also TeamViewer may also automatically lock the screen after logging out of TeamViewer making it impossible for the player to playback.
The easiest way to ensure correct access to screen capturing is to initiate a reboot of the computer after accessing it with the remote desktop/remote access solution.

It is therefore best not to use remote access software "just" to verify playback but instead better to rely on the remote management capabilities of the Media4Display solution.
