Installing the flexEZ RoomView application on the oomnis OT1052N tablet.

Please follow the following steps in order to install a flexEZ RoomView application on your existing oomnis tablet.
  1. the old FlexO application may be set to run as soon as the tablet launches. You need to prevent that:
    1. launch the FlexO application
    2. either it goes directly into the room view mode or it stops at the setup page
      1. if at the setup page, verify that the "Start at bootup" checkbox is unchecked. If it is checked, uncheck it and press OK.
      2. if you are directly in the room view mode, press the top left corner for 5-10 seconds and you will be back to the setup page. You can verify that the "Start at bootup" checkbox is unchecked.
  2. Verify that your build number for the oomnis tablet is more recent than 20221227
  3. Download the most current version of the flexEZ RoomView application APK:  link to flexEZ 3.0.0 APK
  4. Either using USB storage or using ADB command line copy the APK to the tablet
  5. Install the APK using the Files application on your Android tablet
    1. you may have to use the hamburger menu on the top right to display Internal Storage
    2. You can directly copy the APK or install from the USB storage
  6. After installation you will find a new icon for the new flexEZ application
  7. You can launch the application and you will find the familiar setup page

  8. After adding the correct URL (do not forget to use the http/https prefix) you should be able to get the connexion code.

  9. With the code, you can connect to the flexEZ resource of choice using the Device menu.
  10. Add the device using the given code

  11. Once you have added the device, the screen will change to the new flexEZ experience for the tablet
