How to configure log level remotely on Media4Display for Android

In MediaContact, create a new process (it is advised to create a folder to store your custom processes).
- Process Trigger Initiative: Server
- Population: create and select a population of players for which you want to apply the new log level
- Connection: select or create a connection (typically a Server Initiative connection)

Now in the task tree you can create a new task element by RMB click:
→ New Task > Administration > Station

OS type: Windows
☑ Execution during communication (if you have used a server triggered process)
Operation: Registry | Modify a value data
Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Telelogos\Media4Display Client
Type: String
Value: PlayerLog
Data: [1-3]

Choose the log level between 1 and 3 depending on your desired verbosity

Be careful, the log can grow pretty fast. It is recommended to bring it back to the server

To activate the new settings, you need to reboot the system (either using a MediaContact process or M4D reboot menu)
