In Media4Display, my operations are up-to-date on the player but it doesn't play the correct content.
In Media4Display, if the communications are up-to-date, it means the files needed to play all targeted operations have successfully been transported to the player.
In general, when you are not playing the right content, one of the following issue is happening:
- Your schedule priority is wrong and the content you expected to play is a lower priority schedule, or
- Your targets are incorrect and you have not targeted the right player, or
- The content you have selected is invalid because of time, datasource or metadata filtering, or
- Your schedule is not valid today (e.g. it starts from tomorrow), or
- Your player time is incorrect (NTP is not set up or not yet sync-ed), or
- Your player timezone is incorrect (your player seem to be in a location where your content is not yet valid or whose timespan doesn't match the current time)
If you have verified that all the parameters above are correct, in a last resort, you can always try and reset the players using the "Restart Player Software" under the Player menu.
