Media4Display: video acceleration with DXVA2
If your player does not have a very powerful CPU but a graphics board with video decode acceleration available, it is possible to set up M4D to use this capability.
For this 2 steps are necessary:
- In the bin directory of Media4Display, you must rename the file _M4Devrpresenter.dll to M4Devrpresenter.dll
- Your LAV filters must also be configure to use DXVA2 native hardware acceleration:
